2005 December Snow
After several years of mild -- and late -- winters, 2005 got off to a bang with two significant snowfalls, and near zero temperatures.
The Iowa City airport brought their gigantic snowblower back to life, after several years of disuse. A truly impressive piece of equipment that dates back to the airport's airline service days, it can toss snow over 100 feet off the runways! The pictures, below, really don't capture the power of this machine...
And for those of you who have enjoyed the pool in the past, I've included a few pictures of a very different-looking pool and gazebo area!
