2006 Flight to Anoka

In May of 2006, Jim, Tami, Nick & Megan Burns met us at the Anoka-Blaine Airport, where our friend Paul Montgomery (aka: Montblack) was waiting.

There, Paul (and his friend, the director of the museum, Craig Schiller) gave us a guided tour of the Golden Wings Museum -- a fantastic private collection of aircraft from the Golden Age of Flight featuring the largest collection of flying trimotors in the world!

Being allowed inside many of these one-of-a-kind aircraft was a real treat.  Here are some pictures from that wonderful day!
