2006 Milwaukee Air Show
In July we ventured to Waukesha, Wisconsin's Crites Field (UES), to attend the Milwaukee Air Show. There we spent the weekend with our friends Jim & Tami Burns, and were also able to hook up with Jim & Betsy Ninomoya (aka: "ViperDoc") for a bit, too. (Jim was kind enough to let us park our plane in his hangar for the weekend.) Even though we were only there for a couple of days, we were able to squeeze in visits to the Milwaukee Zoo (which our kids enjoyed), and to the Sprecher Brewery (which us BIG kids enjoyed!). It was hot -- incredibly hot, considering we were on the shores of Lake Michigan -- and our faces reflect it in the pictures. Still, with the help of plenty of water (and a measurable amount of beer) we were able to stay hydrated, and a good time was had by all!
