December can be a wild month, but 2007 was one for the books.  With snow or ice on the ground continuously since Thanksgiving, 2007's December stood out as a "real winter", even to the old-timers in the area. 

Here are some pictures from the ice storm that hit December 10th & 11th, when prodigious amounts of liquid moisture hit the 14-degree ground, causing power outages, downed trees -- and a beautiful landscape...
