Boeing Plant Tour & Seattle Museum of Flight

Of course we couldn't visit the Seattle area without touring the largest aircraft manufacturing plant in the world, the Boeing Aircraft Plant.

The plant is almost unbelievably huge.  Housed inside the largest building in the world (by area) are the 747 and 777 production lines, and the tours show it all.  Unfortunately, they don't allow cameras in the plant, so I couldn't snap any pictures inside.

Another "must-see", Seattle's Museum of Flight, is one of the top aviation museums in the world, with displays that rival the Smithsonian's Air & Space museum for quality and authenticity.   We spent a most enjoyable afternoon there, viewing their many unique aircraft and visiting their terrific gift shop.  

While there we were able to obtain many unique decorative items for the Inn, and were pleasantly surprised to find artwork and memorabilia that we have not seen at the many other museums we've visited.
