The Cherokee Pilots Association has, in recent years, taken its place nationally as the predominant Piper type-group. As such, this organization has many regional and local fly-ins, and fly-outs.
One such fly-out took place on Sunday, September 26th, 2004, when 16 Piper Cherokees descended from crystal-clear blue skies to land at little Reedsburg, WI (C35), where a terrific buffet luncheon was served to over 25 attendees at nearby Longley's Restaurant.
Organized by Dave Hahn, this fly-out was the first of many events to be planned in the MidWestern area for CPA members. As Dave said, "There's simply nothing prettier than watching dozens of Cherokees landing at a little country airport..."
A great time was had by all, and everyone is looking forward to many more!
