| Great place. We called the morning of July 4th and got their last two rooms for that night. The Pan Am Honeymoon suite was the best $100 (with AOPA discount) hotel room I have ever stayed in. It had a hot tub and waterbed. Of course, it was also decorated with old map wallpaper border and other stuff you'd associate with ole' Pan Am... |
| Our other couple got a $50 (with AOPA discount) room/suite, which was much nicer than the Four Points hotel we'd spent the previous night in... The place looks like a converted/updated/remodeled apartment building. Every room (we saw anyway) has a full kitchen. Apparently, they also rent rooms by the month... But, it definitely caters to the pilot crowd. |
| The office looks like an FBO. We would have had use of their courtesy van, if not for the other 4 pilots flying in the same day. Yes, the hotel has a courtesy van! - not just a shuttle. As it was, we spent less than $20 in cab fare for four people running around town... |
