Friday -- The Washington, DC Mall

Making use of our hotel's free shuttle to the Udvar-Hazy Center, we were able to catch their excellent bus down to the National Air & Space Museum on the Mall, right in the heart of Washington, D.C.   Not having to rent a car in D.C. is the only way to go!

We spent a most enjoyable -- if steamy -- day touring the various museums and memorials downtown.
