Hawkeye Squadron One Year Anniversary

October 18, 2004, marked the Civil Air Patrol's Iowa City Hawkeye Squadron's one-year anniversary.

To celebrate, the squadron organized a pot-luck dinner, held in the Iowa City Municipal Airport's terminal building conference room.

Senior Member Gary Snyder arranged for the Johnson County Sheriff's Department's drug and tracking dog, "Lazer", to make an appearance, with an amazing demonstration of how Lazer can find illegal substances like marijuana, cocaine, and meth-amphetamines.

A great time was had by all, as can be seen in the pictures, below!
