Loretta's Funeral
In September, 2005, Mary's mom, Loretta, passed away. Although she had been ill, it was an unexpected blow, and we all took it hard. It's a sad commentary, but nowadays it takes something like a death in the family to bring us all together. As melancholy as the event was, it was good to see everyone again, and the kids had a chance to see some of their favorite Racine parks. Here are some pix from that bittersweet time:
