- We stayed at the Alexis Park Inn as we were passing through on a long trip (by auto) and were lucky enough to stay in the Wright Brothers Suite. The place was GREAT my only regret was I didn't have an excuse to stay in Iowa. The suite was comfortable and the in-room hot tub was fantastic.
- This would be a great place for a club fly-in or spot to meet flying friends. It's great having a hotel owner who understands you are really stuck when you fly in (or drive in pulling a trailer to haul your plane on) and goes out of the way to make life a bit more comfortable.
It truly is a pilots hotel right down to the sectionals in the "pilot shop". Breakfast at the door is a plus as is the FULL size coffee pot in the kitchen.
