National Stearman Fly-In

Every September hundreds of Stearman biplanes gather in Galesburg, IL for the National Stearman Fly-In.   Located just 45 minutes from Iowa City (by air), this annual convention is truly worth the effort to see.

This year the weather was picture-perfect, as can be seen from the photos and videos, below.   We spent an entire day under puffy clouds, light winds, and warm temperatures, with our friend from Minnesota, Paul, watching as the prettiest biplanes in the world filled the sky in numbers not seen since World War II.
