Our 21st consecutive EAA Oshkosh Fly-In was our best yet! Spending six days camped in the shadow of our plane is our definition of aviation heaven, and Oshkosh never disappoints.
But it wasn't all fun and games. Hooking up with Gary Elshoff, the creator of our beautiful stained-glass windows, we spent many hours promoting both his artwork and our hotel to many thousands of convention attendees. We also spent untold hours searching for artwork and memorabilia to spice up and enhance our aviation theme suites.
But fun is the best kind of work, so we hosted a little get-together at our campsite in the North Forty for pilots from all over the country who frequent the aviation newsgroups. A new first -- an internet aviation party! -- it is guaranteed to become an annual affair for us!
The only downside -- we came home with a different tent than we arrived with! Yes, the weather was a bit rough this year in Oshkosh, as some of the photos will attest...
