We are very proud of the European gingerbread style of the Alexis Park Inn & Suites. With 30 luxury suites (nearly 100 rooms) in two, 3-story buildings, the Alexis Park Inn & Suites is the only hotel on Iowa City's south side.
We are even more proud and humbled to be the caretaker of our hand-carved-from-solid-cedar, 3-story "Alexis Park Inn" sign. Original to the inn, it was carved and erected in 1981, at a cost of more than $20,000.00 (in 1981 money!). A true work of art, we spent many days on a cherry picker, carefully cleaning, filling, repainting and restoring this beautiful creation to its original condition.
And our pool area is hard to beat. Custom designed, it is perfectly fitted to the property, and is great area to relax on a warm summer's day.
