The weather for Saturday's pancake breakfast dawned clear and calm, and warmed up quickly into the low 80s.  The Methodist Men's Club served pancakes (donated by Quaker Oats) and sausage (donated by members of the Iowa Pork Producers) as quickly as they could fry 'em up.  

Later, EAA Chapter 33 flew dozens of Young Eagle flights (free airplane rides for kids ages 8 to 18), and -- after the pancake breakfast shut down at noon -- Stone's Restaurant from Marshalltown, IA, began serving up burgers, brats, hot dogs, and pork-kabobs!   Needless to say, everyone got enough to eat...

The Travel Air, a Pitts Special, and a new Light Sport Aircraft called a "CT" were constantly in the air, giving rides to all comers, while the crowd ogled everything from custom wheels to Cessna's newest Citation Jet.   It was great!
