Wednesday was the "Big Day" at the show for us, with plenty of shopping and, of course, the Fourth Annual Wednesday Night Party at our campsite in the North 40.

This year we counted nearly 60 people in attendance (although only 40-something made it into the group photo) -- and a great time was had by all.  Meeting people that you've previously only "known" on-line is a lot of fun, and every year we meet new and interesting people from all around the aviation world.

Thanks and credit go to rec.aviation regulars Jim & Tami Burns, who drove in from Stevens Point and did most of the cooking and supplied much of the food, and the inimitable, irreplaceable Montblack, who drove in from Minneapolis with "the cargo plane of minivans" full to bursting with tables, chairs, grills, coolers, and everything imaginable. 

Without these three folks, this party would still be a bunch of folks drinking beer after the airshow...   Instead, it's a major happening!
