Flight to Reno
The flight out started off a bit hairy, with showers and scattered thunderstorms in Western Iowa and Eastern Nebraska.
Once past the Omaha, however, the skies were clear, and it was smooth -- if slow -- sailing all the way to Reno, Nevada. In fact, other than the 60 knot headwinds we encountered (which stretched our flight time from 9 to over 12 hours), the going was good!
